Israeli Folk Dancing
Sunday Nights
at
Temple Emeth
194 Grove Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
(use the entrance by the playground)
| No Dancing - Shavu'ot - Hag Sameah! | |
| If we have to cancel dancing due to weather, we will do our best to send an
e-mail to the mailing list, but we may not have enough notice . . .
I (Pam) will also do my best to post it here, so check this site, even if you have received no e-mail. If there is a parking ban in Brookline . . . or if Temple Emeth has cancelled Sunday morning religious school (announced on television) . . . then dancing is definitely cancelled, even if we have not e-mailed or posted a notice. When there is dancing in inclement weather, please use your own judgement as to whether it is safe for you to come. |

Welcome!
The dancers on Sunday nights are a friendly group, and we hope you'll come join us.
If you haven't danced much before, or haven't danced in a while, it's a good idea to come early in the evening, to get the most teaching and easy dances.
For those who have been dancing more recently, we teach new dances (and sometimes "classics") a bit later, and then spend the rest of the evening on open dancing and requests.
If you want to attend minyan at Temple Emeth, it's at 6:00pm every Sunday night - there's a link with more information to the left.
Timing may be adjusted as we continue to make our arrangements at Temple Emeth, but for the time being . . .
Approximate schedule (varies slightly depending on attendance in any given week):
| 7:00 - 7:30 | Easy teaching and beginning dances |
| 7:30 - 8 | Teaching and easy dances |
| 8 - 9:30 | Open dancing and Requests |
$6/person
If you want to receive e-mail notice of events or in case of snow cancellations or schedule/room changes, ask to be added to our e-mail list.
